HEALTH & SAFETY / TRAINING
Patient care is of paramount importance so providing a safe environment in which to provide that care must be a priority. This is easily achieved if staff are trained and regularly audited to ensure they have the Health & Safety support and skills they need to deliver care effectively and safely.

We can help with risk assessments to ensure they are robust and adequate; too often many risk assessments do not fully identify the hazards staff and patients can be exposed to, with the relevant control measures agreed to reduce the risks to an acceptable level. Stress of staff must also be considered when operating in volatile working environments: training and peer mentor support can help reduce stress levels in these often highly emotional situations.
